Not bad. I mean that in a good way. You won't be disappointed with their thin crust. Pretty good for the munchies kind of pizza.

By far one of the worst pizzas in the Chicagoland area. I will eat most any pizza, like really, any pizza, but not Palermo's. The sauce is far too sweet and does not taste anything like a Chicago style pizza should taste. I've given it a try twice and been very disappointed both times. Yuck!

Boy, I dunno about the negative reviews. The worst experience I'VE ever had here would STILL be a grade of A- (something was going on in the kitchen that time, and I had to wait a whole 10 minutes, oh, dear.) And I, for one, prefer a pizza with a sweet tomato sauce. There are PLENTY of other places in the Orland Park area where the incompetent owners will sell you mediocre-at-best pizza (without naming any names, Wood Paddle Pizza ...) Thankfully, Palermo's isn't like that. TOTALLY worth your money and patronage.

As many people stated, it is a sweet sauce, but we like it. Palermos is one of our go to places for pizza. Highly recommended. I have ordered it for parties and everybody loved it. Have never had a customer service issue there. Monday and Tuesdays they have specials $6 off XL and $5 off Large. They are a bit pricey, but the specials really help with the cost.

We ordered a pizza online last Saturday and were told 25 minutes for pickup. My husband went to pick up the pizza only to be told they didn't have it and we must have ordered from another location. My husband called me and I gave him the confirmation number, he was then told they just didn't make the pizza. They told him they had to send someone home and they had no one for deliveries and were doing pick-up orders only. Again, no reason why our pick-up order wasn't made. When my husband got home, Palermos called (now they found our phone number!) to say they could make our pizza and it could be ready in an hour and fifteen minutes and did we still want it. No thanks! I hope this was an isolated incident but the way this situation was handled makes me very hesitant to return.

Our favorite pizza place is now PALERMO'S ! Our family has ordered many of the different pizzas and they are all great! Don't hesitate to try the Chicago Style Beef pizza! It's absolutely the best pizza they have! I'm shocked by the negative reviews as we have ordered many times here and have never had a complaint!

Good pie. I have ordered 3 times with Pick Up only , never an issue. Yes the sauce is sweet but I love it.

I'm really surprised at all the bad reviews. We ordered an individual thin crust, a medium thin crust and an eggplant parm entree. The pizza was good. I liked the sauce. The eggplant parm was also good, almost as good as my moms :) I had a sore throat though and wanted soup with my eggplant which they were out of, so I got spaghetti and the spaghetti had almost no sauce on it. I like a lot of sauce. Will definitely order from there again though

Beware!! Ordered pizza last night, phone girl wrote the card number and code on a piece of paper. Sure enough two fraudulent charges this morning on the card. Called the manager and she couldn't be bothered, she would have to dig through the trash to find the paper, no they DO NOT SHRED the paper with your card number and code on it! Will never order from there again and if you do please use cash!!! Not a good way to run a business!!!

I'm a new customer and this review is only on customer service. I Tried to order a Pizza and Blackened Chicken Salad. First attempt I was put on hold for 6 minutes - management should know most phones track how long you are waiting. I hung up and tired again but the phone was answered with "Palermo's, can you hold?" I said "no, I already did that and was put on hold for too long, can you take my order?" No reply, and then click, was put on hold. Could not do it again, I hung up and ordered from my regular place.

This is the last time I order from palermo's. I placed an order and was quoted 1.5 hours for delivery. After 2 hours I received a call saying that they only had one driver and had no idea when they would be able to deliver my food. I called them back 5 minutes later and told them I would just come pick it up. After getting lost trying to find their location, we called them to find out exactly where they were. The girl who answered made sure to let us know that they were already closed and the fact that we were inconveniencing them because they couldn't properly deliver a pizza 10 minutes away from their location. Once we got there and picked up the pizza they told us they would give us a credit on our next visit, but there was nothing they could do tonight. No apology at all. Whatever. The kicker is, once we got home and opened up our pizza, it was made incorrectly! They charged us for extra toppings and extra sauce when we only requested toppings on half of the pizza. I'm making sure my credit card payment does not go through for this transaction, because I never received the product I paid for.

Ordered a pizza and an entree for pick up. I did not check the order before leaving their location. When I got home I discovered that the entree I received was not the one I ordered. Pizza was okay, we have had better from them in the past. Of course I called to report this. I was given the option to have the right entree sent to me but at this point I was so disgusted that I opted not to do this. It also would have meant that we would have had to wait at least an hour. Then our pizza would have been cold. Because we have a grouopn to use, I will order one more time but after that we are done with this location. What a shame especially since we have had Palermo's pizza for many years in the past. It's not the same anymore, how sad.

Pizza was delicious! It's New Year's Eve & our dinner plans were interrupted when the restaurant we planned to go to was CLOSED. After calling several other places, my husband & I quickly realized that a sit down dinner was out of the question. 2+ hour wait times! My husband suggested Palermo's & I just found my new pizza place! Sauce was sweet and plentiful. They were very nice, service was quick and easy. Will be back soon!

This place is a waste of money. They have no affiliation with Palermos 95th (the amazing restaurant in Oak lawn). They tried as a restaurant on 143rd in Orland and failed miserably. Pizza is thin with a sweet sauce and is grossly over priced. I have also tried a salad and cheese sticks from here before and well...i could make both better at home. This place won't last much longer.

Used to look forward to Palermo's 95th every Friday night growing up. This does not even come close! Over sauced, undercheesed. The delivery guy tilted it so everything slid. Side salad was a joke. Chopped lettuce topped by 2 cucumber slices does not make a side salad! UGH major let down

Great pizza if you're a fan of a sweet sauce. Ask for it well done. This location is delivery and take out only but their pizza travels well.

Sorry guys, this Pizza misses the mark. Stuffed spinach pizza, one of my favorites, and almost inedible. When the reviewers say sweet sauce, think the sweetest you ever had, and multiply it by 2. This make Aurelio's seem spicy. The crust is bland....I don't know, you can do better.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
